Scope of certification
This standard establishes environmental, performance and health criteria for ceramic and tile products used in construction and interior fit-out, including floor tiles, wall tiles, and glazed and unglazed ceramic products.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- No carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins used in manufacture
- No heavy metals above defined limits
- Product must meet relevant performance standards for flooring or wall covering (ISO 10545, EN 14411 or equivalent)

Most applications are completed within 3–4 weeks after all supporting documents are submitted. New certification is valid for 2 years.
