Scope of certification
This standard establishes environmental, performance and health criteria for textile products, covering fibre production, dyeing and finishing processes.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- No azo dyes that can release carcinogenic aryl amines; no sensitising dyes
- Formaldehyde content within defined limits — varies by product type and intended use
- Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) content and heavy metals in pigments and dyes within defined limits
