Scope of certification
This standard is independently accredited under ISO/IEC 17065 by the Singapore Accreditation Council (Certificate No. PD-2018-20). Visit the SAC website →
This standard establishes criteria for pulp and paper products including printing, hygiene, stationery and office automation papers, cut reams up to 300 gsm, printed paper products with at least 90% paper content, and products made from newspapers, magazines and catalogues.
Key requirements
- Sustainably sourced fibre — FSC or equivalent chain of custody certification required
- Zero-burning policy — no land clearing by burning permitted in fibre supply chain
- No elemental chlorine bleaching — ECF or TCF process only
- Peatland and fire management compliance required where sourcing from plantation on peatland
