This standard applies to panel board products primarily for indoor use including interior panelling and furniture, covering timber and wood-based materials, gypsum and minerals, plastics, glass, aluminium, steel, and engineered wood products.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- No heavy metals (antimony, arsenic, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, mercury, selenium, tin)
- No aniline-based amines, aziridine compounds or carcinogens, mutagens or endocrine disruptors
- No chlorine, CFCs or halogenated compounds
