LED Lights
Scope of certification
This standard establishes criteria for LED lighting products connecting directly to a commercial power source, covering integral LED lamps as replacements for incandescent, decorative, fluorescent and halogen lamps, and street lighting lamps. LED aesthetic lighting is excluded.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- RoHS compliance — no mercury, lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBBs or PBDEs
- No short-chain chlorinated paraffins; synthetic resin housing must not contain halogen compounds above defined limits
- Colour rendering index (Ra) and minimum luminaire efficacy (lm/W) requirements met
