This standard establishes grading criteria for commercially used hand soaps and cleaners based on environmental, health and performance parameters, covering the full product life cycle.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- No carcinogens or endocrine disruptors (IARC Group 1 and 2A)
- No EDTA, NTA, APEOs or halogenated organic solvents
- No butoxyethanol above defined limits
