Scope of certification
This standard establishes criteria for electric hot air hand dryers equipped with non-contact on/off switches.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- No carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins; no heavy metals above defined limits
- No CFCs or ozone-depleting substances
- Non-contact activation required; energy consumption per drying cycle within defined limits
