Scope of certification
This standard establishes criteria for household gas-powered cooking devices, including cooker tops and devices with built-in ovens. Devices with gas burners below a glass-ceramic cooker top are excluded.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- No carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins; no heavy metals above defined limits
- Thermal efficiency requirements met
- Low NOx and CO emissions during operation
