This standard applies to indoor and outdoor home and office furniture and fittings, including chairs, tables, cabinets, bookshelves, wardrobes, sofas, mirrors, lecterns and partitions. Mattresses, doors, panel boards and LED lights are excluded.

Key requirements

  • Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
  • No carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins; no heavy metals above defined limits
  • No chlorine, CFCs or halogenated compounds; no aniline-based amines or aziridine compounds
  • No PFAS in surface treatments, coatings or textile components
