Scope of certification
This standard covers environmentally innovative products not addressed by existing SGLS product categories, employing advanced technologies to reduce environmental impact. A relevant valid patent is required.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- Valid patent for the innovative environmental feature required at application
- No carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins
- Quantified and independently verified environmental benefit required
