Scope of certification
This standard establishes criteria for deodorants in spray, roll-on and stick form, including prerequisites on reduced toxicity and prohibition of environmentally harmful propellants.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- No carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins; no heavy metals above defined limits
- No CFCs, HCFCs or ozone-depleting propellants
- VOC content within defined limits for aerosol formats
