Scope of certification

This standard establishes grading criteria for cement and precast concrete products based on environmental, performance and health parameters. It includes product-specific prerequisites such as the use of recycled materials and conformance to leaching tests.
Key requirements
- Environmental management system in place (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 or equivalent)
- Leaching test for heavy metals and organic compounds within prescribed limits
- Minimum proportion of supplementary cementitious materials required (e.g. fly ash, blast furnace slag) — 100% OPC cannot be certified
- Product must meet relevant performance standards (SS EN 197-1, SS EN 206-1 or equivalent)
